About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager, Malaysia to lead marketing initiatives for the Malaysia market. This role reports directly to the Regional Marketing Director and works closely with the Malaysia Country Manager and cross-functional teams.

This is a full-stack marketing role, suited for someone who thrives in both strategy and executionfrom defining market-level priorities and messaging to hands-on campaign management, content creation, and performance tracking. While the primary focus is Malaysia, this role will also have opportunities to contribute to regional marketing campaigns and initiatives.

You'll be a marketing generalist who can work independently, take ownership of projects end to end, and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to drive results.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, activation, stimulation, and retention, aligned with country and company goals.

Own end-to-end campaign planning and executionfrom ideation and messaging to rollout, monitoring, and post-campaign reporting.

Monitor and analyze key market and funnel metrics, including penetration rate, activation rate, stimulation, and retention, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Lead event marketing, activations, and on-ground initiatives, ensuring strong brand presence, operational excellence, and post-event performance evaluation.

Build and manage strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to co-create campaigns, events, and co-branded initiatives that drive impact.

Manage and optimize CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., MoEngage and similar platforms) to deliver targeted, personalized, and data-driven communications.

Apply user segmentation principles to ensure messaging, creatives, and channels are tailored to different user groups and lifecycle stages.

Create, adapt, and oversee content across channelsincluding social media, in-app, email, offline materials, and presentationsto support campaign and business objectives.

Be comfortable producing basic video content (e.g., short-form videos, event recaps, internal or partner-facing videos) and coordinating simple edits as needed.

Develop clear communication plans for campaigns, product launches, events, and partnerships, outlining key messages, channels, timelines, and target audiences.

Create and refine presentation decks for internal stakeholders, partners, and external events to clearly communicate strategy, campaign plans, and results.

Lead both digital and traditional marketing efforts to support lead generation, partner visibility, and brand growth.

Maintain and regularly update campaign calendars and communications calendars, ensuring alignment across teams and markets.

Track, analyze, and report on campaign and event performance, delivering clear insights and recommendations to the Regional Marketing Director and Country Manager.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Support, and Country teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business priorities.

Manage multiple stakeholders effectively, reporting directly to the Regional Marketing Director with a dotted-line relationship to the Country Manager.

Stay up to date with marketing trends, tools, and best practices, including the practical use of AI to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

46 years of hands-on marketing experience, with strong exposure to campaign execution, event marketing, partnerships, and performance tracking.

Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.

Comfortable analyzing market and campaign performance metrics and using data to guide decisions.

Solid understanding of user segmentation and how messaging, creatives, and channels should differ by audience and lifecycle stage.

Proficient in CRM and marketing automation tools (experience with MoEngage is a strong plus) and familiar with project management tools such as Asana.

Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages across channels.

Comfortable creating basic visual assets (posters, simple layouts, presentations) using Canva or similar tools.

Comfortable with basic video editing or coordinating simple video production for marketing and communication needs.

Strong grasp of digital marketing, content strategy, and social media platforms.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent in managing timelines, calendars, and deliverables.

Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiar with basic PR/media engagement strategies.

Bonus: Experience in B2B marketing, fintech, HR tech, or working in a tech/startup environment.
