The Marketing Manager will play a key role in planning, executing and overseeing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels in Asia. This role is responsible for managing digital marketing, email marketing (eDMs), influencer and media relationships, partnerships, campaigns, events and brand communications, while ensuring alignment with Selkirk Sport's global brand direction. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and strategic marketer with strong campaign management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment. A passion for sports, community building and storytelling is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, partnerships and events to grow Selkirk Sport's presence in Asia.
- Translate business and product priorities into structured campaign plans, coordinating execution across internal specialists (copywriting, design, paid media, ecommerce, social media, video and events).
- Develop and manage email marketing (eDMs), newsletters and lifecycle communication flows, with a strong focus on customer journey mapping, retention and engagement.
- Lead campaign strategy and rollout for product launches, tournaments, academy programs and regional activations, ensuring all assets and deliverables are aligned and delivered on time.
- Oversee influencer, ambassador and media relationships across Asia, including micro and mid-tier creators, athletes and media partners to drive awareness, credibility and community growth.
- Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships and collaborations with clubs, brands, communities and event partners.
- Work closely with the paid media specialist and ecommerce team to align campaign objectives, audience targeting and performance outcomes, including oversight of digital media spend and reporting.
- Coordinate all campaign and event deliverables across internal teams and external vendors, ensuring seamless execution from planning through to delivery.
- Manage timelines, budgets and workflows across multiple concurrent campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and customer insights, working with relevant teams to analyse results and continuously optimise marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably in the sports, fitness, or lifestyle industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM platforms, email marketing platforms (eDMs) such as Maestra, customer lifecycle communications and campaign analytics.
- Experience managing integrated campaigns across multiple channels and markets.
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, Tagalog or Vietnamese is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
- Self-motivated, organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for sports, particularly pickleball, is highly desirable
