Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative Marketing Specialist with a deep passion for famous video games product (esports) and the gaming community. In this role, you will develop and execute marketing campaigns that promote our games, build brand awareness, engage the community, and drive player acquisition and retention. You'll work cross-functionally with developers, influencers, content creators, media buyers, and analytics teams to bring marketing strategies to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns for game launches, updates, and live events.
- Collaborate with game development and creative teams to create compelling content including trailers, promotional art, blog posts, social content, and in-game announcements.
- Manage social media channels and community engagement efforts to build and maintain strong player relationships.
- Coordinate with PR, influencer marketing, and paid media agencies to maximize campaign reach.
- Monitor, track, and report on KPIs and campaign performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, social listening platforms, and game telemetry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher educational level holder from business marketing, digital marketing or relevant courses.
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing, prior experience in informationtechnology/e-commerce / mobile / web gaming industry exposure. Preferably with experience in the live-streaming segment within an e-commerce background or a gaming background.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Capability to develop measurable business outcomes and marketing roadmap
- Deep knowledge of games, relevant gaming audiences, and the gaming industry
- Proficient in both English and Malay languages ; knowing Chinese language is a strong bonus point.
