Kardex AutoStore specializes in innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions. We are strengthening our marketing presence in Southeast Asia and are now searching for an experienced and energetic Marketing Specialist to lead and drive our tradeshow, event, and customer marketing activities across SEA.

This position plays a key role in planning and executing events, coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Central Marketing, and supporting case study recordings and other field marketing initiatives across the region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Event & Tradeshow Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and plan key tradeshows and industry events across Southeast Asia.
  • Manage all event logistics booth design, shipment coordination, set-up, and on-site operations.
  • Travel regionally to oversee booth setup, ensure smooth execution, and represent the company professionally.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams for event materials, displays, and demos.
  • Ensure all events align with brand and corporate design guidelines.

Sales, Operations & Central Marketing Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales to align event participation with business objectives and lead generation targets.
  • Collaborate with Operations on logistics, booth setup, and equipment management.
  • Liaise with Central Marketing to represent SEA, share regional insights, and adapt global initiatives for local markets.
  • Contribute new ideas and creative concepts from the SEA region to enhance global event strategy.

Case Studies & Field Marketing Activities

  • Support and coordinate customer case study recordings, including planning, on-site support, and logistics.
  • Work with the content and communications team to ensure smooth filming, interviews, and follow-ups.
  • Help collect customer insights and local stories to strengthen regional marketing assets.

Marketing & Communication Support

  • Coordinate pre- and post-event communication (emails, social media, PR, etc.).
  • Support lead capture, post-event reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Prepare event recaps and deliver actionable insights for future improvements.
  • Contribute to strengthening brand visibility and engagement across SEA markets.

Operational & Administrative Tasks

  • Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and project timelines.
  • Oversee shipments, booth components, and material availability.
  • Provide support for other regional marketing initiatives when required.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Work Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in event or tradeshow marketing, ideally in a B2B or industrial environment.
  • Experience in planning and managing regional events or exhibitions.
  • Knowledge of using Hubspot and Sprout (social media).
  • Understanding of video or photo shoot coordination for marketing purposes.
  • Proven experience working with sales, operations, and global marketing teams.
  • Exposure to digital promotion and event communication is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; additional SEA languages are a plus.
  • Based in Malaysia and open to frequent regional travel.
