About the Role
We're looking for a Marketing & Website Operations Director to own and scale our digital growth engine.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the strategy and execution behind our global website, marketing operations, CRM ecosystem, and AI-powered customer journeys. You'll shape our martech strategy, define the website roadmap, and build scalable systems that improve conversion, accelerate pipeline, and drive recurring subscription growth.
This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on leadership role. You'll partner closely with Product, Sales Operations, Performance Marketing, SEO, Content, Analytics, and Engineering to create a seamless customer journey, from a visitor's first interaction through to becoming a loyal customer.
We're looking for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with execution: someone who can design the architecture, build the first version, and then scale it through processes, technology, and people.
This is a fully remote position, requiring excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration across distributed teams.
What You'll Do
Own Marketing Operations & CRM
- Define and implement the marketing operations strategy, governance framework, and departmental OKRs.
- Own the HubSpot ecosystem, including CRM architecture, marketing automation, lifecycle management, lead scoring, segmentation, and customer journey orchestration.
- Partner closely with Sales Operations to optimise lead routing, data quality, attribution, and lifecycle management across global territories.
- Build a scalable, data-driven marketing infrastructure that supports business growth.
Lead Website Strategy & Digital Experience
- Define and own the vision, roadmap, and performance of our global website.
- Translate business objectives and customer insights into an exceptional digital experience.
- Deliver seamless, multilingual website experiences across international markets.
- Ensure Strapi CMS supports scalable content management with minimal engineering dependency.
Drive Conversion & Growth
- Turn the website into a high-performing revenue engine by continuously improving conversion across the customer lifecycle.
- Optimise recurring subscription funnels from Trial/Sign-up → Active Paid Subscription → Expansion/Upsell.
- Design frictionless customer experiences, including self-service journeys, checkout flows, and in-product upsell opportunities.
- Lead experimentation through A/B testing, UX optimisation, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
- Own website conversion performance and continuously improve pipeline velocity.
Build Intelligent Marketing Automation
- Design and optimise automated customer journeys that improve engagement, qualification, and retention.
- Build scalable HubSpot workflows triggered by customer behaviour and marketing campaigns.
- Use CRM and behavioural data to personalise website experiences and marketing communications.
- Partner with Performance Marketing to optimise landing pages, campaign tracking, lead nurturing, and attribution.
Apply AI Across Marketing Operations
- Lead the adoption of AI across website operations, CRM, and marketing processes.
- Design AI-powered conversational experiences and self-service journeys that improve lead qualification and customer experience while reducing manual effort.
- Use AI to enhance lead scoring, predictive routing, customer segmentation, and personalised marketing at scale.
- Continuously evaluate chatbot performance and optimise prompts, workflows, and customer interactions using real conversation data.
Partner Across the Business
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Design, Engineering, SEO, Analytics, Content, Performance Marketing, and Sales Operations.
- Prioritise initiatives using frameworks such as RICE while managing delivery through Jira, Notion, Figma, or similar tools.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform continuous website and customer journey improvements.
- Collaborate with SEO and Content teams to improve organic growth, technical SEO, site structure, and internal linking.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience in Website Management, Product Management, Marketing Operations, or Growth within SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce.
- Expert-level, hands-on experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM), including automation, lead scoring, customer journeys, and CRM architecture.
- Proven experience leading conversion rate optimisation (CRO), experimentation, funnel optimisation, and advanced analytics.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and customer journey optimisation.
- Experience implementing automated customer journeys, self-service flows, and/or AI-powered chatbots.
- Experience managing large-scale websites (200+ pages), including international content and technical SEO.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working with tools such as GA4, Looker, Strapi, Figma, GrowthBook, Notion, Jira, or similar platforms.
- A data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation, continuous improvement, and measurable business impact.
