About The Role
This role will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) by coordinating systems integrations, validating data flows, and ensuring integration readiness, including SIT, business User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-to-end performance testing, cutover, and production deployment.
Solution & Integration Delivery
- Support the design and delivery of CEP integrations across internal and external platforms.
- Validate interface specifications, API contracts, event flows, and data mappings.
- Assess integration dependencies and support technical solution reviews with Architecture and Engineering teams.
Data Integration & Quality
- Validate customer, transaction, loyalty, offer, campaign, and behavioural data across integrated systems to support activation use cases.
- Ensure integrations comply with established naming conventions, event standards, API governance, and data integration standards across banners.
- Support data ingestion, identity mapping, migration, master data alignment, and data reconciliation activities.
- Monitor integration quality, investigate data discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
API & Integration Management
- Coordinate integration activities across API Gateway, Middleware, microservices, and vendor teams.
- Validate REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven interfaces, batch integrations, and file exchanges.
- Support API version control, interface changes, and technical impact assessments.
Testing & Release Readiness
- Coordinate integration readiness for System Integration Testing (SIT) and support business-led User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate end-to-end integration flows across connected systems and customer journeys.
- Support performance testing by validating API throughput, batch processing, and downstream integrations.
- Coordinate integration readiness for cutover, deployment, and production validation.
Incident & Operational Support
- Provide L2 support for CEP integration and application issues, including customer identity, segmentation, journeys, loyalty, campaign, and data pipeline incidents.
- Investigate integration failures and data quality issues, supporting root cause analysis and defect resolution.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution with internal teams and platform partners during testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Identify recurring integration issues and recommend continuous improvements.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Middleware, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Digital, POS, OMS, and CEP teams to ensure successful integration delivery.
- Coordinate technical discussions, integration activities, and cross-functional dependencies throughout project delivery.
About You
- 3–5 years of experience in systems integration, enterprise applications, APIs, MarTech platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), loyalty solutions, or data engineering, with strong integration experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML, event-driven architecture, and batch integrations.
- Experience using API testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Postman) and writing SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Familiarity with API Gateways, middleware platforms, microservices, and cloud-based integration architectures is an advantage.
- Should have experience supporting SIT, business UAT, production deployments, and L2 application support in an Agile delivery environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience performing root cause analysis and coordinating issue resolution across cross-functional and vendor teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Knowledge of retail, loyalty, customer engagement, or digital commerce platforms is highly desirable.
