Your Role in VT Markets
The MTO Lead is responsible for building and running the marketing backbone of the brokerage: marketing technology, operational excellence, and the Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE). This role ensures that marketing isdata-driven, efficient, scalable, and well-governed across global, regional and local teams.
You will partner closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Compliance, Data, and IT to:
  • Design and optimise the MarTech stack
  • Drive process and workflow transformation
  • Oversee marketing operations, governance, and effectiveness
  • Lead the Marketing CoE, standardising best practices, playbooks and training


Job Requirements


  • 510+ years of experience in marketing operations, MarTech, growth operations, or digital transformation, ideally in brokerage, fintech, or other regulated financial services.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (paid media, CRM, web/app, content) and funnel metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with MarTech platforms such as CRM/ESP (e.g. HubSpot, SFMC, Braze), analytics (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude), and automation/orchestration tools.
  • Proven track record of designing and improving processes across teams and geographies.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to work with data, dashboards and attribution models to support decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to work with Marketing, Sales, Product, Data, IT and Compliance.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-market environment.
  • Experience setting up or contributing to a Center of Excellence is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services marketing is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

MarTech Ownership & Data Enablement
  • Own the marketing technology roadmap (e.g. CRM, CDP, ESP, push, analytics, attribution, automation, tagging).
  • Work with Data/IT to ensure clean tracking, tagging and data flows across web, app and channels.
  • Evaluate, implement and integrate new MarTech tools that support acquisition, CRM, personalisation, and analytics.
  • Ensure marketing teams have self-serve access to key data and insights (dashboards, standard reports).
Marketing Transformation & Process Improvement
  • Map and optimise end-to-end marketing workflows (campaign planning, briefing, approvals, execution, reporting).
  • Identify bottlenecks and introduce automation, templates and standard processes to improve speed and quality.
  • Lead change initiatives to move marketing from reactive, request-based work to a proactive, planned, data-led model.
  • Partner with regional teams to ensure processes are practical and scalable across markets.
Marketing Operations & Governance
  • Run the marketing planning and operating cadence (quarterly planning, reviews, retros).
  • Standardise and manage campaign naming, taxonomy, budgets, and documentation.
  • Drive financial governance: support budget planning, track spend, and reduce black box media.
  • Align and harmonise measurement frameworks and KPIs across global, regional and local teams.
Center of Excellence (CoE) & Best Practices
  • Establish and maintain CoE playbooks for:
    • oAcquisition and funnel optimisation
    • oCRM & lifecycle journeys
    • oContent & education
    • oPerformance measurement and experimentation
  • Ensure global regional local alignment and reduce duplication of effort.
  • Design and run training, onboarding and enablement programs to uplift marketing capability.
  • Act as a central point of contact for regional marketing teams on processes, tools and standards.
AI, Automation & Innovation
  • Identify AI and automation use cases across marketing (content generation, personalisation, reporting, segmentation).
  • Pilot, scale and govern AI tools and workflows, ensuring compliance and brand safety.
  • Measure impact of AI/automation initiatives on speed, cost, and performance.

Success in this role means reducing campaign lead time (from brief to launch), increasing adoption of MarTech tools and CoE playbooks across regions, improving attribution coverage and minimising black box spend.
