Master Data Intern

Job Description:

Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Master Data Intern.

The Master Data Intern will support the Global Master Data team with daily operations, data quality checks, and process improvement initiatives. The role offers hands-on exposure to SAP Master Data processes and the opportunity to gain experience working in a global Shared Services environment.

This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As aMaster Data Intern you will:

Operational Support: Assist with master data creation, extension, and updates across material, vendor, customer, and finance data categories.

Data Quality & Compliance: Perform data validation checks based on master data policies and standards.

Continuous Improvement Support: Contribute to small improvement initiatives, including streamlining workflows and updating work instructions.

Administrative & Team Support: Prepare simple reports, trackers, and documentation for ongoing projects.

What skills and experiences are we looking for

Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, IT, or any related field.

Basic proficiency in MS Excel (sorting, filtering, simple formulas).

Exposure to SAP or any ERP is a plus (training will be provided).

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Good communication skills in English.

Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.

Initiative-driven with interest in process improvement.
