Master's Research Opportunity (Graduate Research Assistant)

Seeking a highly motivated Master's by Research student with a background in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering discipline to join a newly funded research project at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).

Research project:

Investigation of wax-asphaltene interaction effects on crude oil blend compatibility for predictive fouling model development.

Research areas:

Flow assurance, crude oil processing, fouling mitigation, process modeling

Expected start date: Immediate

Monthly stipend: RM 2300

Eligibility requirements:

• Minimum CGPA of 3.25/4.00 in a Bachelor's degree
• Strong interest in experimental research, modeling, and data analysis

Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) support details:

• The research grant provides a monthly stipend of RM 2300/month.
• Tuition fees and research methodology fees are covered
• Registration fee, accommodation, and transportation costs are not covered and shall be borne by the student
• Candidates are required to complete 84 hours of teaching assistantship activities in the form of tutorials, laboratory demonstrations, or other related academic activities.
• Candidates are required to perform 22 research days per month.
