Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and award suppliers for fabricated parts including packaging, hardware, and plastic moulding components
  • Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead time, and delivery commitments to support production and business requirements
  • Execute purchasing activities including cost breakdown analysis and PO management via SAP
  • Manage purchase orders and closely follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment activities based on demand signals
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, delivery, and inventory records in the system
  • Coordinate with purchasing teams across group factories for material allocation, exchange, and alignment
  • Ensure material compliance across supply chain processes, including MRO activities and consolidation
  • Coordinate FAI inspections, tooling cost reviews, and sample submissions with local and international suppliers
  • Support NPI stages with quotations, drawings, alternative sourcing proposals, and supplier development
  • Work closely with R&D and engineering teams on drawing specifications and product localization
  • Build and maintain should-cost frameworks and cost breakdown models for raw materials
  • Analyze supplier capacity, market conditions, and lead time trends to identify and mitigate material supply risks
  • Support material control and cross-functional teams with timely and accurate updates on material status and delivery issues
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data reviews to support purchasing and inventory decisions
  • Collect and consolidate data from various sources, applying statistical tools to derive meaningful insights
  • Create data visualizations and reports using Power BI to help stakeholders understand business trends and make better decisions
  • Act as a key communication bridge between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Participate in and support company initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, buying, or material compliance within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with fabricated parts — packaging, hardware, plastic moulding, etc.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient in Power BI for data reporting and procurement analytics
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
  • Comfortable working on-site at the factory at least once a week
