About the role

In this role, you will play a critical role in our Supply Chain function by ensuring we have the right materials, in the right quantities, at the right time to meet production demands. You will be responsible for the entire Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, collaborating with various teams to optimize inventory levels and manage supplier relationships

Key responsibilities
Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Execute the MRP process daily and weekly to align with production plans and schedules.
Material Procurement: Source and purchase required raw materials and packaging materials based on production plans and company inventory policies.
Purchase Order Management: Create and assign purchase orders to suppliers within the SAP system.

Inventory Management:

Identify and expedite missing materials (shortages) to avoid production disruptions.
Manage safety stock levels and goods movement.
Generate reports to monitor supplier performance and track inventory levels.
Identify and develop solutions for excess or aging inventory.
Supplier Communication: Maintain clear communication with suppliers regarding deliveries, shipping documents, and other related matters.
Contingency Planning: Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues like quality problems or shipment delays.
Project Management: Participate in ad-hoc projects and undertake other duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills
Recognized degree in any discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Planning roles within the Supply Chain function.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP), MRP II principles, and MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
