1,MDM Design & Development:
- Design, develop, and configure MDM solutions for core master data domains (Customer, Party, Product, Reference, Entity).
- Implement data models, hierarchies, relationships, and survivorship rules.
- Configure match-merge logic, golden record creation, and de-duplication processes.
- Develop batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines into the MDM hub/database.
2.Data Integration & Engineering:
- Build and maintain integrations between MDM platforms and upstream/downstream systems.
- Develop APIs, services and messaging-based integrations for master data distribution.
- Work with ETL/ELT tools to load, transform, and synchronize data across systems.
3.Data Quality & Governance:
- Implement data quality rules, validation checks, and exception handling workflows.
- Support data stewardship processes including data review, remediation, and approval.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards and policies.
4.Testing, Deployment & Support:
- Develop unit, integration, and regression test cases for MDM components.
- Support SIT, UAT and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot data issues, integration failures and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide operational support and documentation for MDM solutions.
5.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with data architects, business analysts, data stewards, and source system owners.
- Translate business data requirements into technical MDM solutions.
- Contribute to MDM roadmaps, standards and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Min 3 years of data engineering or MDM development.
- Hands-on experience with one or more MDM platforms, such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, SAP MDG, Reltio or Semarchy.
- Strong understanding of MDM concepts: golden record, survivorship, match-merge, hierarchy management.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica PowerCenter/IDQ, Talend, DataStage).
- Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP) and messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ).
- Strong understanding of data modelling, normalization and metadata management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
These are preferred/advantageous skills:
- Experience in banking, financial services or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Customer/Party MDM, KYC, entity resolution and reference data management.
- Experience with data quality and profiling tools (Informatica IDQ, Ataccama).
- Familiarity with data lineage, impact analysis, and metadata tools.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and real-time data synchronization.
- MDM or Data Governance certifications is preferred.
