Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, optimizing & sustaining manufacturing processes to ensure high productivity, quality & cost efficiency. The roles focuses on process design, continous improvement & supporting production to achieve operationa targets.

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions & process flow, establish the parameters and also M&E setup.
• Support New Product Development System (NPDS) including line setup and process validation.
• Support implementation of APQP, PPAP and other quality-related documentation.
• Analysze production issues and perform root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
• Implement continuous improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Optimized line balancing, cycle time, and manpower utilization.
• Monitor and improve OEE (Overal Equipment Effectiveness)
• Coordinate with suppliers for process-related issues and improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers on technical matters.

Job Requirement:

• Education: Degree/Master in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality or related field)
• Working experience: 3 -5 years of relevant experience in quality engineering or QMS, preferable in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Experience in handling customer audits, third-party audits and certification processess.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement effective CAPA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quality Management Software/Tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work across all departments and with external parties.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
