Position Title: Automotive Technician cum Long-Distance Driver

Target Candidates: Automotive / Mechanical / Vehicle Maintenance graduates
1. Role Summary
We are looking for a candidate with both automotive technical skills and long-distance driving capability. The role requires the person to support vehicle maintenance, basic diagnostics, fluid management, emergency roadside repair, and safe driving for operational trips.
This position is suitable for graduates who are technically strong, physically fit, disciplined, and willing to travel long distances when required.
2. Key Responsibilities
Automotive Technical Duties
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing basic vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance.
- Checking engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid, battery condition, tyres, and lights.
- Identifying basic mechanical or electrical faults.
- Supporting routine servicing and minor repairs.
- Handling emergency roadside situations such as tyre change, overheating, battery issues, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and readiness before every trip.
- Reporting vehicle defects, service requirements, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
3. Required Skills
- Basic automotive diagnostics and repair knowledge.
- Preventive maintenance skills.
- Understanding of vehicle fluids, tyres, battery, brakes, and engine systems.
- Ability to respond calmly during roadside emergencies.
- Good driving discipline and road safety awareness.
- Ability to handle long-distance travel.
- Responsible, punctual, and physically fit.
- Basic communication skills in English.
4. License Requirement
Candidates should already hold a valid Class B / passenger car driving license from their home country.
For work involving driving in Malaysia beyond the permitted period, the selected candidate must be willing to complete the required Malaysian JPJ local driving license pathway after arrival, if applicable.
5. Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Certificate in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance, or related field.
- Experience in vehicle servicing, workshop practice, or fleet maintenance.
- Experience in long-distance driving will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of hybrid or electric vehicles is an added advantage, but not compulsory.
