Mechanical Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Manager to lead the installation, operation, and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities in Malaysia. This role will be responsible for managing M&E projects, coordinating subcontractors, establishing local operation and maintenance teams, and ensuring plant delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead mechanical & electrical project execution and coordinate with civil construction activities

✅ Manage subcontractor selection, tendering, and evaluation

✅ Oversee safety, quality, schedule, and cost of M&E works

✅ Establish and lead local operation and maintenance teams

✅ Drive facility management and property team development

✅ Implement group standards and best practices for plant operations

✅ Ensure compliance with regulations and industry requirements

Requirements

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

✔ Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the lithium battery manufacturing industry

✔ Strong project management and site coordination skills

✔ Experience with large-scale industrial or lithium battery manufacturing facilities is highly preferred

✔ Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, power distribution, water & drainage systems, automation, and environmental facilities

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software

✔ Good command of English for daily business communication
