Mechanical Engineer (HSE & Technical Consulting)

Role Description

The Mechanical Engineer HSE & Technical Consulting will primarily apply mechanical engineering knowledge to support safety engineering, workplace risk management, and technical consulting projects. The role combines engineering expertise with HSE advisory, project coordination, and technical consulting services to support clients in improving workplace safety and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be involved in engineering analysis, safety assessments, equipment and process risk evaluation, and technical consulting activities. The role will also support client engagement, training delivery, and technical solution development related to workplace safety and engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote and market AMIOSH consultancy and training services related to HSE, engineering, and industrial safety.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with corporate clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical presentations for clients.
• Support HSE consultancy projects and engineering-related assessments.
• Maintain good relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver consultancy and training services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / HSE / related field.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia.
• Knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health (OSHA 1994) and industry practices is an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in marketing, sales, or business development is preferred.
• Able to travel for client meetings and site visits
