Mechanical Package Engineer (Hydraulic & Process Valve Packages)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Engineer to support offshore engineering projects involving hydraulic equipment, skid packages, and process valve packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing package engineering activities from technical specification through vendor coordination, ensuring all deliverables comply with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the engineering and technical follow-up of hydraulic equipment and skid packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, equipment datasheets, and procurement documentation for mechanical packages.
- Perform Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and support vendor selection processes.
- Coordinate with vendors on technical clarifications, document reviews, engineering queries, and package deliverables.
- Review vendor drawings, calculations, and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspections, and package verification activities.
- Coordinate closely with Process, Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Procurement teams to ensure successful package integration.
- Monitor package engineering progress and support timely delivery of project milestones.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in offshore Oil & Gas, EPC, EPCC, FEED, or detailed engineering projects.
- Experience in mechanical package engineering, particularly hydraulic systems or process valve packages.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management, Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), package specifications, datasheets, and procurement support.
- Experience participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and vendor inspections.
- Good understanding of international engineering standards such as API, ASME, ISO, or equivalent.
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Experience with FPSO, FSO, offshore facilities, subsea systems, or marine projects is an advantage.
