Role Overview
Seeking a Rotating Engineer to support commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness
of critical rotating equipment offshore. This is a hands-on execution role focused on ensuring
equipment reliability during system start-up and early operations for an initial 6 months contract.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning
● Support installation verification, alignment checks, and pre-start checks
● Execute commissioning of pumps, compressors, turbines, and auxiliaries
● Participate in loop checks, functional testing, and performance testing
Start-Up & Operations Readiness
● Lead / support equipment start-up and troubleshooting during initial operations
● Monitor performance and resolve vibration, overheating, or instability issues
● Ensure equipment meets operational and safety requirements
Maintenance & Reliability
● Support development of initial maintenance strategies and spare parts readiness
● Provide input on MTBF, failure modes, and reliability risks
Vendor & Offshore Coordination
● Interface with OEM/vendor reps during commissioning activities
● Work closely with offshore teams to ensure safe and efficient execution
Requirements
● Minimum 12+ years experience in oil & gas
● Strong exposure to rotating equipment commissioning & start-up
● Experience in offshore production facilities (FPSO / platform)
● Knowledge of API 610, 617, 614 standards
● Hands-on troubleshooting experience is mandatory
● Must be offshore-ready (BOSIET + medical valid)
