Our client is a global pharmaceutical company seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to join its team in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute medical strategies to support specialty care products.
- Provide medical expertise in cross-functional discussions and decision-making.
- Engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to share scientific insights.
- Review and ensure accuracy of medical materials for promotional and non-promotional use.
- Support clinical development, including investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence projects.
- Conduct medical training for internal teams to enhance product knowledge.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
- PhD or Medical Doctor (MD) qualification is required.
- Experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Background in specialty care areas such as oncology, hematology, immunology or related fields.
- Ability to interpret clinical data and communicate scientific information effectively.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- People management experience would be an advantage
