Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Records Assistant based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The Medical Records Assistant will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and safeguarding patient medical records. Additional duties include managing health information systems, ensuring data accuracy, handling clerical tasks, and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. The role also involves proper use of medical terminology and adherence to confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology to effectively manage and process medical records
• Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff
• Clerical Skills and proficiency in administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping
• Understanding of Health Information Management principles and policies
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Prior experience in healthcare or medical records management is a plus
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in health information or related fields are advantageous
