Lifeways Sdn Bhd is a medical device company based in Selangor, Malaysia. Since its establishment in 2005, Lifeways has been dedicated to developing and distributing medical devices for public and private healthcare, clinical diagnostic, and scientific institutions.
Role Description
We are looking for highly motivated and results-driven Medical Sales Executive to join our sales team. This candidate is responsible for driving the sales of medical devices in Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy/ENT products to healthcare professionals, hospitals and other medical institutions. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that meet their requirements. The Medical Sales Executive will also be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts and achieving sales target.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in medical institutions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Regularly visit clients to ensure their needs are being met and to introduce new products.
Market Research and Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Gather feedback from clients and communicate insights to the product development team.
- Analyze sales data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
Product Knowledge and Training
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio.
- Stay updated on new products and technologies in the medical field.
- Educate clients on the features, benefits, and proper usage of medical devices.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract negotiations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, Marketing or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
- proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales target.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to understand and explain technical information related to medical devices.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
