Memory / System Validation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for Memory (DDR4/DDR5) validation and testing, with a focus on SSD products as well.
2. Set up and maintain test platforms, including server/PC hardware installation, BIOS configuration, OS deployment, and test environment maintenance.
3. Execute functional, performance, compatibility, stability, and stress testing according to test plans.
4. Troubleshoot and analyze issues found during testing, collect logs, and work with R&D teams on issue reproduction and root cause analysis.
5. Develop and maintain test cases, test reports, and technical documentation.
6. Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to drive issue resolution and improve product quality.
7. Develop or maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of testing/validation experience in Memory, SSD, Server, PC, or related platforms.
3. Hands-on experience with server/PC platform setup, including hardware assembly, BIOS configuration, and Windows/Linux installation.
4. Good understanding of DDR4/DDR5 Memory or SSD products and validation methodologies.
5. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
6. Basic Linux knowledge and familiarity with commonly used testing tools.
7. Experience with Python, Shell, or other scripting languages is a plus.
8. Knowledge of storage interfaces such as PCIe, NVMe, and SATA is a plus.
9. Good written and verbal English & Mandarin(not mandatory) communication skills, with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
