We are seeking a detail-oriented
BIM Modeller to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with engineers to bring designs to life by producing high-quality layouts, proposal drawings, diagrams, and technical sketches using advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools. Your work will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into coordinated, buildable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Uses REVIT to develop designs, create and revise production drawings. (Draw trunking/tray based on the engineer's sketch.).
- Liaise with the engineer for drawing updates & changes.
- Able to understand the drawing specifications and written instructions provided bythe Engineer and revise drawings as per request.
- Site visit for as-built drawing - Prepare and review the rough sketches and review them along with the project team.
- To prepare project documentation as required.
- Attend coordination meeting with consultant, client, and main contractor, (Prepare and complete necessary drawings during meeting).
- Familiar with and understand Electrical and Instrumentation installation details and limitations.
- Responsible to execute project implementation in accordance to agreed customer requirements and always referring to the established ISO 9001 Quality Manual, Procedures Manuals, and Work Instruction Manuals.
- Responsible for identifying hazards during the design stage in accordance with ISO 45001, establishing the Occupational Health and Safety Quality Manual, Procedures Manuals, Operational Procedures, and eliminating or minimizing the impact of identified risk through the execution of mitigation actions.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Familiar with REVIT MEP.
