Position Title: MEP Project Director (Data Center Hyperscaler)
Location: Malaysia (KL or JB)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple construction projects.
- Define project objectives, scope, and delivery strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage and mentor project teams, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities, and key project stakeholders.
- Support project development activities, including site assessments and tender responses.
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, finance, operations, and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, risk awareness, and operational excellence.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within mission-critical or complex infrastructure environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of construction delivery processes, project controls, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Significant project management experience within construction or infrastructure delivery.
- Experience covering the full project lifecycle, from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.
