Job Description
- Lead and own the pre-season merchandising planning process for assigned footwear categories, including analytics, documentation, and template management.
- Define and implement season assortment strategies, working with buying teams to build profitable and consumer-aligned shoe lines while adhering to OTB budgets and category price structures.
- Generate baseline forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and demand drivers, ensuring SKU counts and stock rotation align with approved limits and budgets.
- Review merchandising reports, SIR, and delivery schedules, taking timely action on late deliveries, aging stock, and other operational issues.
- Maintain high operational discipline by delivering tasks on time, ensuring quality, and following departmental priorities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering engagement, sharing expertise, and positively influencing outcomes.
- Provide inspirational leadership and team development by setting priorities, motivating change, sharing knowledge, and encouraging accountability within the team.
