How will you make an impact in this role

Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.

  • Responsible for servicing clients with merchant accounts to secure the settlement of the account.
  • This potentially covers the setup, maintenance, linkage and payments of merchant accounts.
  • Assist Merchants with completing servicing requests
  • Collaborate with multiple Merchant and Payment teams to tailor servicing strategies that meetMerchant needs
  • Resolve complex/escalated service requests with precision and urgency
  • Proactively identify procedural/operational opportunities and implement solutions that lead toimproved Merchant journeys and satisfaction
  • Assist Merchants with their operational needs by offering a variety of American Express paymentproducts/services
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects required to support Merchant's key business objectives

Minimum Qualifications

  • An ability to analyze data effectively and implement changes to reduce demand.
  • Additional languages such as Cantoneseand/or Mandarinwould be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and belief in growth mindset, highly accountable and intrinsically motivated.
  • Must understand Customer First ethos and the American Express brand and products.
  • Solid understanding of Merchant Servicing highly desired.
  • Excellent problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as proven verbal & written communication skills.
  • Must have a high degree of attention to details with very good sense of ownership and good decision making skills.
