Seedset Advisory is a full-service advisory firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, based in Kuala Lumpur. We prioritize and partner with entrepreneurs, from small and medium to large-scale companies. Since 2020, we have successfully completed multiple M&A transactions and we guide our clients through every step and all aspects of the transaction with dedicated, personalized service and honest, practical advice.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, located in Kuala Lumpur, for an M&A Manager. The M&A Manager will lead and responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mergers and acquisitions process, including providing management advisory, consultancy services and M&A services to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and complete tasks / projects assigned such as but not limited to business and finance transformation, merger and acquisition and etc.
  • Manage due diligence, including understanding, manipulating and interpreting financial and technical data and executing various analysis of financial results, forecast, variances and trends.
  • Build financial models, valuation analysis, produce presentations illustrating our client's business value to potential buyer / seller and maintain active dialogue with the clients to facilitate investment opportunities.
  • Work closely with our partners and members on strategy and negotiations.
  • Source for investment opportunities and cultivate networks to support deal generation and grow sector expertise
  • Develop and maintain tools and systems supporting our portfolio management.
  • Write comprehensive research reports to support investment proposal of our client.
  • Support in building and leveraging relationships with clients to identify, respond to and convert client opportunities.
  • Ensure companies under our engagement are frequently reviewed and updated.
  • Support thought leadership and research & development activity as appropriate.
  • Support development of analysts / senior analysts by actively coaching them on and off the job.
  • Contribute to overall development and growth of the practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or Information Technology
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skillswith acute judgement / high attention to detail
  • Financial modelling experience is desirable
  • Team based environment, family culture, small team
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Good communication and writing skills, able to make complicated jargons into layman
  • Multilingual fluency and good presentation skills
  • Able to generate research report ready within a couple of days
