In this role, you will have the opportunities to work with different teams such as production, procurement, planning, quality, technical, calibration services, suppliers and contract manufacturers to sustain and improve products and processes.
Responsibilities
As a manufacturing engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Integrating products with different product structures as refurbished products into Keysight Remarketing Services (KRS).
- Work on New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure timely launch of NPI.
- Set up refurbishment, option reconfiguration, test, repair and final configuration processes as well as capabilities at KRS. Continuously look into process improvement opportunities.
- Set up and maintain Test Station.
- Develop and maintain Operating Instructions (OI) or procedures for technicians and Outgoing/Production Quality Assurance (OQA/PQA) inspectors.
- Provide product related training to technicians, OQA/PQA and Order Management (OM)/Planning.
- Work with internal partners (Product Support Engineering, New Products Division, Quality, Procurement) on any product and quality related issues to come up with resolutions/preventive measures if needed.
- Look into process efficiency improvements and automation opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrated proficiency in relevant tools, systems, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with experience performing structured rootcause analysis.
- Experience working in a highmix, lowvolume manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming and familiarity with AIbased tools or technologies is a plus.
