Job Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilities & Infrastructure: Manage 11kV substation, HVAC/AHU systems, compressed air,
water and sewage treatment.
- Facilities Engineering: Preventive and predictive maintenance, building maintenance, and
infrastructure reliability.
- Project Management: Plant expansion, layout redesign, contractor management, and CapEx
execution.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, ST, ISO 14001, ISO
45001, RBA.
- Administration: Oversee plant and Dormitory security, canteen, transport, hostel, cleaning,
and vendor management.
- Leadership: Manage engineers, technicians, and admin staff with 24/7 readiness.
- Key KPIs
- Utilities uptime >99.5%
- Zero unplanned power outage
- HVAC stability within specified tolerance
- Energy cost optimization (kWh/unit),Zero major audit findings
- CapEx delivery on time and within budget
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Facilities Engineering.
- At least 10–12 years experience in manufacturing plant facilities.
- Strong knowledge in 11kV power systems, HVAC, and water/sewage treatment.
- Familiar with BMS, SCADA, and energy monitoring systems.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian regulatory requirements (ST, DOSH, BOMBA, DOE).
What Your Background Should Look Like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters degree with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
