Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs and work with global logistics team.
- Ensuring all logistics activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.
- Evaluate the performance of the forwarders and implement improvements.
- Make critical decision and liaise with forwarder/purchaser/planner/warehouse/program to ensure smooth transaction for inbound shipment.
- Liaising with freight forwarders closely to resolve outgoing shipment delays, discrepancies & damage.
- Ensure that goods are delivered on time
- Maintain accurate filing system for all order related and shipping status documentations for internal & external audit purpose.
- Other ad-hoc shipping duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics or equivalent
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant logistics experience in manufacturing industry
- Able to work in multi-tasking and minimum supervision
- Good knowledge in Microsoft office (word and excel)
