Job Description

  • Advise business units on regulatory requirements, internal policies, corporate governance, and licensing matters.
  • Maintain Branch compliance policies, procedures, manuals, and outsourcing assessments.
  • Develop and update Regulatory Risk Assessment Registers (RRAR).
  • Execute the annual Compliance Plan and conduct risk-based compliance reviews.
  • Manage regulatory inspections, information requests, and ongoing engagement with regulators.
  • Report regulatory issues and non-compliance to Group Compliance in a timely manner.
  • Deliver compliance training and regulatory awareness to staff.

AML/CFT & Sanctions


  • Act as Branch MLRO/Compliance Officer with ownership of AML/CFT and Sanctions Framework.
  • Implement AML/CFT and sanctions policies, procedures, and controls aligned with Group and local regulations.
  • Apply a risk-based approach to AML/CFT and sanctions risk management.
  • Oversee investigation and reporting of suspicious transactions (e.g. STRs).
  • Engage regulators and support Group/Head Office initiatives and projects.
