Position: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise data solutions. You'll work with Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Pipelines to prepare data for analytics and AI workloads.
You'll collaborate with AI engineers, product managers, and business teams to ensure data is clean, secure, scalable, and ready to power intelligent applications.
What You'll Do
Design and maintain Microsoft Fabric data architecture
Build ETL pipelines using Fabric, Synapse, or Azure Data Factory
Transform raw data into structured datasets for analytics and AI projects
Optimize data models and pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost
Support AI engineers for RAG and LLM workloads
Monitor pipeline performance, ensure data quality and governance
Document workflows and share knowledge with the team
Requirements
What You Need
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
3–6 years in data engineering, analytics, or platform engineering
Microsoft certifications: DP-600, AZ-204, DP-100
Hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines)
SQL, Spark / PySpark
Azure Data Factory or Synapse
Data modeling and pipeline optimization
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
Nice to Have
Exposure to AI workflows (RAG, semantic search)
Experience with Dataverse, vector databases, or Azure Cognitive Search
Power BI or Power Platform experience
Agile/Scrum experience
