Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mixologist at The Prestige Hotel in Penang. The Mixologist will be responsible for crafting high-quality and creative beverages, maintaining the bar area, and delivering exceptional customer service to guests. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and serving drinks, creating new cocktail recipes, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards, managing bar supplies, and assisting in providing training to other members of the food and beverage team. The ideal candidate will also contribute to enhancing the guest experience through engaging interactions and a strong knowledge of mixology trends.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills with the ability to provide a welcoming and engaging experience for guests.
- Hands-on experience in Food & Beverage, including beverage preparation, menu creation, and inventory management.
- Proven ability to train and mentor staff to maintain high standards of service and operations.
- Basic Culinary Skills with a focus on beverage pairing knowledge and garnishing techniques.
- A passion for mixology, attention to detail, and creativity in developing unique drinks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to bar and food services.
- Previous experience in a luxury or hospitality environment is a strong advantage.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
