About the Role
We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented
Porting Coordinators to join our international team. This role is critical in managing number porting activities across major UK telecom providers. The successful candidates will work closely with our UK-based Porting Team Manager to ensure seamless and timely porting of customer numbers, maintaining compliance with industry standards and delivering exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Number Porting Requests:
- Manage end-to-end porting processes for UK customers across multiple carriers.
- Validate porting requests for accuracy and compliance with provider requirements.
- Liaison with Stakeholders:
- Communicate effectively with UK-based teams, carriers, and customers to resolve porting issues.
- Provide timely updates on porting status and escalate delays or discrepancies.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of all porting activities in internal systems.
- Ensure adherence to Ofcom and industry guidelines for number portability.
- Issue Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve porting failures or rejections promptly.
- Work collaboratively with carriers to troubleshoot technical or administrative issues.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
- Generate regular reports on porting performance and SLAs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:- Previous experience in telecoms, preferably in number porting or provisioning.
- Strong understanding of UK telecom providers and porting regulations.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
Desirable:- Experience working in an international team environment.
- Familiarity with Ofcom porting guidelines and industry best practices.
