Job Purpose
The Livestream Moderator is responsible for livestream operations, technical execution, and host coordination. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, setting up and running livestream sessions, resolving technical issues in real time, and keeping hosts informed and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Livestream Operations & Execution
- Set up, operate, and manage livestream sessions across platforms such as TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada.
- Ensure livestream readiness including OBS setup, camera framing, audio quality, lighting, overlays, product pinning, and platform compliance.
- Monitor livestreams in real time to ensure smooth flow and accurate product information.
- Troubleshoot technical issues involving cameras, microphones, internet connectivity, software, or platform tools during live sessions.
- Coordinate with clients, account managers, and internal teams to align on visuals, promotions, and livestream logistics.
- Host Coordination
- Send session reminders to hosts and confirm attendance ahead of each livestream.
- Support hosts on-site before, during, and after live sessions.
- Maintain livestream schedules and host assignments.
- Documentation Support
- Maintain accurate records for livestream schedules, record of livestream observation and host assignments.
Requirements
- Livestream & Social Commerce Experience
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end livestream operations.
- Experience sourcing, coordinating, or managing livestream hosts or creators is an added advantage.
- Clear, reliable communicator — able to send timely reminders and coordinate with hosts, clients, and internal teams.
- Confident providing real-time direction to hosts during live sessions.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platform livestream studio features, OBS, livestreaming tools, and basic audio-visual equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly during live sessions.
- Comfortable working on-site and during evening, weekend, or campaign livestream hours.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure livestream environment.
- Keeps up with platform updates, livestream trends, and best practices across TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada.
