About This Role

As a Money Exchange Officer, your role will be responsible for managing daily business operations across stores and agents, ensuring smooth transaction flow, maintaining optimal currency stock levels, and supporting team performance. The role focuses on execution, coordination, and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations across multiple points.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Daily Business Operations
  • Oversee daily buying and selling of foreign currencies across stores and agents
  • Ensure smooth operations and fast customer service
  • Monitor transaction flow and resolve operational issues immediately
  • Support daily business activities for stores.
  • Cash Flow & Currency Management
  • Monitor and manage currency stock levels across stores
  • Track fast-moving and slow-moving currencies to avoid shortage or excess
  • Transaction Control
  • Verify and approve transactions across stores and agents
  • Handle high-value or complex transactions when required
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the system
  • Reconciliation & Accuracy
  • Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain proper records for all daily transactions for the vendor
  • Vendor & Rate Coordination
  • Coordinate with banks and money changers for currency supply
  • Support obtaining competitive rates
  • Monitor daily rate movements and ensure timely updates to stores
  • Reporting
  • Prepare and submit daily and periodic operational reports
  • Team & Agent Supervision
  • Guide and monitor junior staff and agents in daily operations
  • Ensure all stores and agents follow operational procedures
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to improve performance and consistency

Requirements

  • Willing to travel as required.
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
  • Work Schedule: 5 working days and 2 rest days.
  • Office Days: Monday to Friday (work from the office).
  • May occasionally be required to work from home on weekends, depending on operational needs.
