Role Purpose
To support effective and adaptive implementation of Fellowship by anchoring project management and impact tracking. This role contributes to day-to-day programme delivery while ensuring data, insights, and learning from the ground are captured and used to inform decision-making.
Principal Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate and well-organised datasets, trackers, and documentation, ensuring high standards of data quality and consistency across systems.
- Coordinate the rollout and tracking of MEL tools (e.g. surveys, observation checklists, grant documentation), ensuring timely and reliable data collection.
- Collect, clean, and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights for programme improvements.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support internal learning and external stakeholder communication.
- Support project planning and execution by coordinating across teams, maintaining shared workplans and trackers, and ensuring timelines are met.
- Organise and maintain project documentation and reporting outputs, ensuring they are up-to-date, well-structured, and accessible for decision-making.

Technical/ Functional competencies:
- Foundational understanding of MEL tools and methods, including basic statistical analysis and familiarity with MEL frameworks and impact indicators.
- Strong ability to collect, clean, organise, and manage data, with high attention to accuracy and detail.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to generate actionable insights; experience visualising data using Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Google Apps Script, R, STATA, or other programming languages or statistical tools.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn data visualisation platforms such as Google Looker Studio or Power BI.
- Ability to synthesise findings, document learning, and communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with student outcome measures relevant to Malaysian public schools (academic, personal, contextual) is an advantage.

Experiences & qualification
- 0-3 years of experience in analytics, evaluation, research, social impact, programme management, and/or education. Fresh graduates are encouraged to have prior internship or volunteering experience (e.g. 36 months) in a relevant field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, social sciences, development studies, data analytics, public administration, public policy).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent proficiency in English and basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- Willing and able to travel as needed and work occasional non-traditional hours for key organisational initiatives.
