Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Consultant role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Mortgage Consultant will advise customers on suitable mortgage products, explain terms and conditions, and guide them through the end-to-end application and approval process. The role involves assessing customers financial profiles, collecting and verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The consultant will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as credit, operations, and branch teams to support timely loan processing and high-quality service. Daily activities include responding to customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records in banking systems, meeting sales and service targets, and participating in outreach or promotional activities to grow the mortgage portfolio.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and a solid understanding of Mortgages, including products, structures, and regulatory considerations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Mortgage Lending to analyze customer profiles, assess creditworthiness, and recommend appropriate loan solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, manage expectations, and deliver a positive customer experience throughout the mortgage journey.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with documentation and banking systems accurately.
- Relevant experience in retail banking or mortgage sales is preferred, and a diploma or degree in finance, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
