Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Specialist role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Mortgage Specialist will identify and manage mortgage opportunities, advise customers on suitable mortgage products, and support them throughout the application and approval process. Daily responsibilities include assessing customers financial profiles, explaining mortgage terms and conditions, preparing and processing loan documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with branch and product teams to drive mortgage sales, conducting mortgage marketing activities, and maintaining high standards of service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Mortgages and Mortgage Lending.
  • Skills in Mortgage Marketing and the ability to support mortgage sales and campaigns.
  • Solid foundation in Finance, including credit assessment and basic financial analysis.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build long-term relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
  • Comfort working with banking systems and digital tools, with a commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical conduct.
  • Prior experience in retail banking, mortgage advisory, or lending operations is an advantage.
