The Molding Technicians operate low pressure molding machines to produce plastic parts and components according to specifications.
They do require monitoring of the entire process, including temperature control, pressure, and speed of the machine, to ensure quality products. The key is to ensure molded parts meet requirements, and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintaining Equipment, inspect and repair or replace worn out or broken parts in the injection molding machines. Assist tooling tech on mold changing process.
Molding Technicians check the quality of the plastic parts and components by comparing them to specifications. If necessary, to adjust the machines to improve the product's dimensions, shape, or appearance. React swiftly to quality issues highlighted by QA and resolve immediately.
Molding Technicians closely monitor the production processes to identify any issues or problems that may arise. To take corrective action as needed to ensure that the products meet the required standards. To Ensure correct parameters for molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a Diploma in a discipline related to Electronics / Manufacturing / Engineering or Science
Minimum Three(3) years of related experience is required.
Knowledge in the Arburg machine is an added advantage.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
