Job Description

Position: Multimedia Intern, SEA

Reporting to: Director, Product Marketing SEA

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor

Duration: 6 to 12 months

Position Overview:

This internship supports ASSA ABLOY's Commercial segment, focusing on innovative access solutions for institutional, industrial, and commercial environments. The intern will contribute to real-world projects that enhance product communication and marketing effectiveness, with an equal focus on creative video production and marketing collateral development. This includes creating engaging digital content, product brochures, presentations, and technical documentation that support product launches, training, and customer engagement.

This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Creative Multimedia, Motion Design or Graphic Design, who are passionate about visual storytelling, digital content creation, and marketing communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative & Technical Content Development

1. Create and edit video content, animations, and motion graphics for product education, training, and marketing campaigns.
2. Design and develop product brochures, flyers, datasheets, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
3. Produce visual assets for digital platforms, social media, internal communications, and customer-facing materials.
4. Assist in developing creative content for product launches, campaigns, and promotional activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Creative Multimedia, Motion Design or Graphic Design.
2. No prior work experience required, but previous internships or coursework in design, animation, marketing, or product communication would be a plus.
3. Strong interest in creative content development, product marketing, and technical documentation.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or equivalent design tools.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
