Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Murex Datamart Developer with 3-5 years of experience in developing and supporting reporting and data management solutions within the Murex platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Murex Datamart reporting solutions, ensuring accurate data extraction, transformation, and reporting to support business and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong database skills, programming knowledge, and the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions using Murex Datamart.
  • Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes within the Murex ecosystem.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in Oracle and SQL Server environments.
  • Analyze business and reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support data reconciliation, validation, and reporting accuracy across various business functions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, data quality, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, support teams, and stakeholders to deliver reporting enhancements and fixes.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT support, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Document technical specifications, report designs, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with development standards, data governance policies, and security requirements.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in application development, reporting, or data integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Murex Datamart.
  • Strong understanding of Murex reporting architecture and data models.
  • Experience working with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.
  • Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
  • Experience working in Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of report development, data extraction, and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Murex Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office modules.
  • Knowledge of treasury, capital markets, risk management, or investment banking systems.
  • Familiarity with ETL, data warehousing, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience supporting regulatory, management, or financial reporting requirements.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of production support and incident management processes.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 environments.
