We are seeking a Murex System Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in Murex MX.3 to support business and technology initiatives across capital markets and treasury functions. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of financial products, experience in Murex configuration and analysis, and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to Murex enhancements and projects.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Finance, and IT teams to define and implement Murex solutions.
- Perform Murex configuration and support across relevant modules, including Front Office, Market Data, Risk, and Back Office.
- Analyze trade lifecycle processes and recommend system improvements.
- Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents, and test cases.
- Coordinate and support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production releases.
- Investigate and resolve application issues, data discrepancies, and production incidents.
- Support Murex upgrades, migrations, and regulatory change initiatives.
- Work with developers and vendors to ensure successful implementation of business requirements.
- Maintain system documentation and provide user support and training as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Murex Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Functional Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with Murex MX.3.
- Strong understanding of financial products, including FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, and Derivatives.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle management, valuation, risk management, and settlement processes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze data and troubleshoot issues.
- Familiarity with Murex configuration, workflows, static data, and market data setup.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Murex Datamart, Reporting, Risk, or Market Risk modules.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting and capital markets operations.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of system integration concepts and interfaces.
- Experience supporting Murex implementation or upgrade projects.
