Murex Tester

4-12 years work experience in application functionality, preferably in the banking/treasury industry

Experience MX3.1 (Front Office: FXMM, Fixed Income, Equities Product Knowledge, Middle Office Risk: MLC, VaR & Market Data, Back Office & datamart modules 

Experienced in end to end flow including life cycle flows of the trades 

Experienced and knowledgeable in Treasury products.

Experienced in configuration of the Murex applications 

Work or involve on projects from project inception through the entire project life cycle.

Strong knowledge / experience in the operating principles and capabilities related to testing methodologies 

Definition of the test concept and related test strategy for all the project test phases - Test strategy: detailed description on how test activities will be executed and related entry/exit criteria definition for the different test phases and the reporting

Approve the test strategy and the overall test phases plan focusing on user acceptance test

System Integration Testing

Test cases definition and documentation for system integration test. 

Plan the usage of the test environments according to the system integration test plan

Assign the encountered defects

Planning and management of the defects resolution encountered

Tracking and dispatching of the encountered defects; monitoring of the resolution activities in order to guarantee continuity to the system integration test activities

Consolidate the results obtained with the system integration test phase in a final report and distribute it to the relevant stakeholders

Stress, Performance and Security Testing

Definition of the detailed stress and performance test concept and related strategy with proposal on expected scenario

Coordinate the acceptance test environment preparation in order to have all the required infrastructure to execute stress and performance test cases

Tracking and dispatching of the encountered defects; monitoring of the resolution activities in order to guarantee continuity to the stress and performance test activities

Consolidate the results obtained with the stress and performance test phase in a final report and distribute it to the relevant stakeholders

User Acceptance Testing

Plan the usage of the test environments according to the user acceptance test plan

Verify and certify the correctness and completeness of the data used

Assign the encountered defects

Planning and management of the defects resolution encountered

Approve the final Solution according to the predefined criteria (formal sign-off)

Provide the certification of the migrated data according to the predefined criteria (within the quality check performed in data migration) (formal sign-off)

Tracking and dispatching of the encountered defects; monitoring of the resolution activities in order to guarantee continuity to the user acceptance test activities: closing of successfully re-tested defects

Collect information about the progress of the user acceptance test and distribute a report to all relevant stakeholders

Consolidate the results obtained with the user acceptance test phase in a final report and distribute it to the relevant stakeholders

Murex Functional

Strong Experience in Murex System MX3.1 application on the FO pricing templates and Pre trade rules, Datamart and MxML related Configurations.

Knowledge in Treasury Products including CURR/IRD/CRE/COMM/EQD/SCF products behaviour understanding, configurations and P&L related.

Knowledge on Murex GOM configurations

Ability to reconcile for IRS/CCS/Bond, FX, commodities, credit, cash flow, income & other assets classes

Good understanding of the end to end products flow cycles from FO, MO and BO..

Ability to document the end to end flow and also correctly map the fields between the templates/reports based on Regulatory needs and validation by the users

Involve in the resolution of the defects and also support the project manager on time to time

Drive the functional and technical workshop and handhold the various stakeholders during the discussion.

Expected to have good understanding of main functional & technical components of the MX.3 FO, datamart and MxML modules and its capabilities.

Ensure compliance with design and coding standards, IT Security, good project management practices.

Improve and optimize the existing process

Involve in any development and enhancement on pre trade rules at pricing and booking sequence for BAU and project requirements.

Provide the scalable and flexible solutions

Liaise with Support team

Work closely with the Support team around the go-live timelines and explain the key changes which is implemented as part of the project.

Share the relevant documents with the Support team which would be linked with the project team.

Liaise with Project Manager and EAD teams

Determine the action taken based on the analysis result from project management coordination.

Support Impact Analysis and estimation for an ITSR.

Report ITSR status & issues to Project Manager for the functional areas
