Work you'll do

• Assisting in performing accounting/finance operational duty such as preparation of journals and reconciliation of general ledger to support monthly ledger closing and reporting schedules- Candidate will assist in accruing intercompany expenses, cost allocation to inter-companies, performing reclassification based on the nature of the transactions, reconciling inter-companies AR and AP and making sure that inter-companies subledger tally to general ledger.
• Assist in AP e-invoicing - preparation of e-invoice template for invoices received from foreign vendors.
• Filling in billing request form for interfirm billing.
• Assist in clearing inter-companies transaction within Malaysia.
• Ensuring intrafirm AP and AR balance - invoices have been paid/cleared and accounted for.
• WIP expenses extraction for engagement team.
• Verification of physical record of staff claims before checking off in the system.
• Assist in account payables team with AP work and treasury matters as and when required.
• Other ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in - Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Able to work with multi-cultural team across the region and take ownership of the work.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
