Job Description

Role

  • Achieve business goals and corporate goals for in Malaysia with a focus on cardiac surgery.
  • Build and manage a strong direct and distribution commercial channel around the country that is compliant with the local and international laws and regulations around the world while creating a strong footprint in the country and maximizing our profits.
  • Develop market access in all provinces products around the country and ensure that we have fair market pricing while driving penetration into deep Tier 2 and 3 Malaysia markets.
  • Identify opportunities in tendering, KOL, development and channel enhancement to build a strong and differentiated brand for. Build programs like workshops, seminars, KOL exchange programs etc. to enhance marketing presence in the geography
  • Develop strong technical and clinical skills and get certified after receiving product training and coaching
  • Build a strong brand image and perception of the company amongst clinical and non-clinical stakeholders through marketing programs that significantly differentiate us from competition
  • Partner with local regulatory organization and other government organization to ensure smooth and quick introduction of our portfolio in the country.

Provide Clinical case support as needed

Experience

  • Mid-career professional with 5-8 years of experience in the medical device, demonstrating strong ambition to grow the business and develop in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline OR applicable / equivalent combination of work experience and education required. Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmaceutical or Life science related field preferred
  • Experience in medical device sales
  • Aortic/Structural Heart case support experience preferred
  • Proven track record of excellent sales results
  • Experience in management of a distribution network with demonstrated sales growth is desirable
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout territory
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product plans to motivate distributor sales reps
  • Positive, energetic and professional attitude and presentation
