A. Project

Title: System Development and Support for Manufacturing and Engineering application

Location: PN

Role: Support System integration development and testing activities for the MES Transformation program, working closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders.

B. Scope of Work

·      Working Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)

·      Reporting to Manufacturing IT team.

·      Support integration assessment and documentation of existing MFG Application

·      Assist in impact analysis and requirement gathering

·      Develop .NET-based components (APIs, services, scripts)

·      Perform unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT)

·      Assist in data validation and issue tracking during UAT and Production rollout.

·      Support defect fixing and troubleshooting activities

·      Prepare technical documentation and test evidence

·      Participate in deployment and post-go-live support

C. Requirements

• 2-4 years working experience in software development
• Strong knowledge in Web/API development in the .NET Framework (C#, VB, .NET Core) SQL Server 2018 and above are mandatory.

·      Familiar with API integration and data exchange concepts

·      Exposure to testing (unit testing, SIT, UAT support)

• Willingness to learn MES and manufacturing processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to deal with the challenges and complexities of the automation process.
• Good knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality automation software development
• Sense of responsibility and good communication skills

C. Preferred Skills

• Preferably in the manufacturing electronics sector with experience in IT Manufacture domain
• Preferable candidate able to work on Penang site (Bayan Lepas area).
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Camstar MES, Message Queue (MQ) as middleware, and AI knowledge is added advantage
