This role supports Level 3 development and incident resolution for retail investment applications, focusing on code fixes, root cause analysis, and system optimization. It involves collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery, while contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software development and Level 3 production support for retail investment applications.
- Manage incident, problem, and knowledge management processes, acting as the technical point of contact for resolution.
- Collaborate with Group domain teams to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
- Ensure quality assurance of team outputs in line with defined software delivery methodologies and tools.
- Oversee third-party vendors and integration partners to ensure timely and high-quality code fixes.
- Conduct root cause analysis, code reviews, and unit testing to resolve production issues.
- Engage with business stakeholders to prioritize and manage the backlog of production fixes and enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across tools, processes, architecture, and governance.
- Design and report on key performance and quality metrics.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Banking, Investment, or IT
- Proficient in MS SQL, .NET, C# React JS development, Entity framework, Cloud or Windows deployment.
- Hands-on experience in application design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring junior developers; team leadership experience is an advantage.
