We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET development, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases to support digital transformation initiatives within the energy sector. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support operations such as energy trading, asset monitoring, grid management, and data analytics.Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) to support energy sector operations
Build and manage secure, high-performance RESTful APIs for system integrations and data exchange
Develop and optimize SQL databases, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Integrate applications with external systems such as SCADA, EMS, and IoT platforms
Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through monitoring and optimization
Implement secure coding practices and comply with cybersecurity and industry standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, domain experts, and DevOps engineers
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to maintain system stability
Contribute to system architecture decisions, including microservices and cloud-based solutions
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3–7+ years of experience in software development using .NET technologies
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, and object-oriented programming
Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Solid experience with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization
Familiarity with microservices architecture and modern application design patterns
Knowledge of API security standards (e.g., OAuth2, JWT)
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and DevOps practices is an advantage
Exposure to the energy, utilities, or oil & gas industry is preferred
