RESPONSIBILITIES:

Update Architecture, Engineering and Operational roadmaps for networking services across the landscape and ensure that it is always aligned with Business / IT Strategy.

Review and provide technical recommendations / solutions for establishing highly available network services that support convergence of data, voice (Unified Comms/Contact Center), and multi-cloud architectures.

Provide clear and concise recommendations and lead to remediate performance / scaling bottlenecks in the landscape.

Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, PMO, Business IT, Infrastructure Leads, and managed service partners in the conception, evaluation, piloting, engineering, and operational delivery of solutions for the organization.

Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to develop best practices that can be proactively incorporated into architectural and engineering designs. Maintain expertise in network & cloud technologies to ensure that cost-effective solutions and processes are deployed and aligned with business requirements.

Define and implement methodology templates for requirements gathering, TCO analysis, product / service assessments, infrastructure design, peer reviews, etc.

Adopt a culture and process for re-use of solutions templates across projects thereby simplifying the solutions engineering process and improving the productivity of the resources.

Participate in BCM, Security, IT Risk Management initiatives in line with industry and corporate Audit and Compliance strategies.

Update and maintain roadmaps, blueprints, design patterns, and best practices for Enterprise Network (on-premises, cloud, and unified comms).

Ensure network and cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data protection, access controls, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, business impact analysis to ensure business services availability in case of unforeseen events.

Evaluate project constraints and recommend alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process / design re-engineering if required.

Analyzes the business impact that certain technical choices may have on AIA's business processes / technology landscape.

Build relationships which foster collaboration and partnerships to drive better strategies, processes, and business value to AIA.
